OK. Who's got an open back seat and whats the date. If I'm not in the middle of moving and at this time it doesn't look like it.

I had better say I'll be last minute for this one. I don't want to commit and than not be able to go

The Desert Rat

Camp-n Nana and I are in !!! We would like to share a family unit. I don't want to drag my 5th wheel and boat due to gas expense ( 8 miles to the gallon on the Dodge Ram and about 6 on the F-250 ( diesel)---soooooo where do we go from here ?
BTW---Camp-n Nana and I have fished Lake Powell for many many years---up lake is definitely the place to have base camp--Halls Crossing or Bull Frog, typically the better part of the lake--

Outstanding!!  We'll put you on da list.  How many days were you guys thinking & what days of that week?  Stay tuned for more details.....

The Desert Rat

We will be first in and last out---we love Powell---a clarification--we WILL have our boat and can fish 4 easily---soooo, another couple want to join in and split expenses ( housing and gas etc??)

OneBlade

I am 80% likely going on this trip.  I can make a Wed thru Sun trip.  I'd prefer as a newbie to this lake to ride along with someone or take my boat and get someone familiar with the lake on my boat.  I'll commit (or not) by March/April time frame.

Brian and I talked about taking the RV to Halls Crossing, and came up with the same conclusion as Desert Rat...  Share a trailer with a couple others...

One thing else...  Brian and I can both take boats...  Leaving room for couple or three more people...  Just a thought...

The biggest expense is the fuel getting there, so spreading that around will help...
Always carry a flagon of whiskey in case of
snakebite...  Furthermore always carry a small
snake.

Chris H

on the rocks

I can not make a serious commitment at this point in time but throwing a dart at the wall I will say Marvin and I will be about 65% in for this trip

Brian & Chris - how many days are you thinking of staying & from what day to what day?

Fishless, Fish Hawk & On da Rocks - same question, how many days were you guys thinking of staying?

Maybe Brian & Chris plus Desert Rat w/ Campin Nana should think about getting one unit for yourselves as I'm thinking you guys are probably staying the longest?  Anybody else thinking about staying for a week or so?

Ok, for the possible Wednesday-Sunday crew:  mrokuesk, wheatThin, Mike & Debbie (Husband/Wife couple I work with & former members of the Walleye Club)  Anybody else thinking about these days?

And I still need to chat with Sparkchaser!

Who else out there is interested........

I had the same thought of pulling my Fifth Wheel & Boat - for a split second that is!!  Just not worth it given gas vs. sharing lodging expenses.  Good choice & I like the 2 boat idea if it helps others make this trip more attractive & doable.

The Merlot Kid and I are contemplating  this as we planned on heading back to Idaho the last week of April. We would have out RV  trailer and pontoon with us and would leave from there for Idaho. Still discussing the number of days. :ecomcity: :3some:
