Tom, I don't see a way to reserve camping spots.  Isn't it first come first serve?  Have you considered getting a family unit (has 3 beds) for $150/night?  We'd need at least 1 other and then $50/person per night I could swallow.  For a week out there it sure would be nice to have good living conditions to come home to after a day on the lake.  It would making cooking and sleeping that much better.

Or anyone else who has a family unit want one more person?  Would save you money.  I read it says 2 queen beds and 1 twin bed.

3 bed, 2 bath, full kitchen, and a living room. 2 queen beds, and one twin.

The family unit layout is: front of the single wide mobile home is the master suite, so to speak, w/ queen bed & attached bath.  Then in the back is another separate queen bedroom, a separate twin bedroom & separate full bath.  The living room & full kitchen are center.

From past experience, it seems to work good if you have a husband/wife couple up front in the master suite then fill the other bedrooms with da crew.  Last year, Dave & I shared one back bedroom w/ Dave taking the bed and me sleeping on a cot that I brought.  We moved the bed over against the wall making room for the cot.  We probably did have a few too many people in our unit last year as we had a husband/wife up front, Dave & I in the back bedroom, Brian in the other bedroom along with Chris & another friend of mine on cots in the living room.  It was doable but was a bit crowded.  It did, however, keep our costs down.  Weather was nice so we sat outside on lawn chairs I brought with along with the picnic table that was already there.

Keep in mind that, for the most part, everybody was on the water from morning till about dark.  We assigned guys that fished together in one boat to cook supper for the group one night - for example Dave & I fished together in my boat so on our assigned night, we came in a bit early to cook for the rest of the crew allowing them to fish until dark & have a hot meal ready upon their arrival.  We pretty much had supper, cleaned up/showered & then a beverage or too before bedtime.  We also chose our last night there as fish fry night - everybody would pool a small bit of their weeks catch together for a group fish fry.

I'm in for this trip.  I figured you don't get an opportunity like this to hit that lake with others familiar with it so I gotta take advantage of that.  Assuming Dick and Joe are o.k. with it, I'll share the family unit with them as a 5th person.   Sorry Tom Menrats I'd rather get indoors for this long instead of camping it.  Note that if more people later want in like FishHawk or others and want to share a Family Unit, I could switch if it helps even out the financial burden and allows others to go on the trip.

Tom, I'd still like to fish your boat and mine if you are o.k. with that.  I'm a little nervous wondering if my truck and boat can make the 6 hour drive but can't see any reason why it wouldn't.  Don't want to say anything to jinx myself but may just have.....
