They have plenty of cabins open, how many people do we want in each unit? There r 3 bedrooms, but someone can use the living room to keep costs down (cot or couch). 3= $50 per day, 4= $37.50, 5=$30. I think 5 is the max we should have in each unit, 3 is the least.

brenda would kill me after two days. truly aint nothin but fishin at halls crossing. just me and the rats again. if i had the buks to put us on a 50ft houseboat for a week that would be a hard sell. i dont get it dudes why would u want to stay in a shak when u can have the canyon view in the mornin. running water is overated. only the weather will make a fool of me in the tent. i would really like a cab over for the trip though that would provide element protection. i have invited matt to ride alng dont know if he wants to put up woth an old spot poacher like me though. im jazzed though. just to feel optimistic about catchin not just fishin when hitting the water is really nice and thats how i feel about this trip.

I looked at cousinlll's Lake Powell spreadsheet and I am a 5th person with David, Debra, Joe, and Dick.  We haven't met to finalize meals and other stuff so if needed, I could shift to a 3rd trailer.  If you can really confirm Wade, Patty, and FishHawk, then I could move as 4th person to the 3rd trailer.  Would like to confirm by early March as we are planning meals and other arrangements if I'm with the David & Debra's group.

As far as fishing, I'd rather not haul my boat up there if possible this trip.  I'd be willing to ride along with someone who has a boat.  Menrats offered but not sure we both need to bring boats.  Would like to see what Wade, Patty, and FishHawk are doing for boats.  cousinlll, time to update the spreadsheet.  This is gonna be a fun trip!

Ya know Matt, I was kind of teasing you with that so called "spreadsheet".... :icon_jokercolor:

Anyway, that so called "spreadsheet" doesn't mean a thing!  People are certainly free to bunk with whomever.  Was trying to figure out how many trailers we might need to accommodate everybody.  And yes, with Wade & Patty it does open up a 3rd trailer.  I totally agree with Brian regarding the number of people per trailer.  As long as everybody has a bed, or place for a cot in my case, I'm good with whatever.....

Again I think once we get the final tally we can shuffle people around. All we are going to be doing in the trailer is sleeping, cooking dinners, and showering. I think if we can, split couples up to each trailer. Then all of us going solo can fill the spaces. That way we can utilize the space better. I agree though 4 to 5 solo people per trailer.

Hey guys, just couldn't stand all the excitement that has been being generated with this trip. We are shifting some things around to be able to make this thing happen and I think we may just about have it all in order. That is why we waited so long to jump in as we wanted to be pretty sure it would happen.        Matt: that would be great for you to jump on over to the 3rd unit with us, give you a little more room and if Fshhawk can make it that would benefit us all.    Our daughter and son-in-law may be coming up but staying in the campground so they will be with us in our boat, we are still waiting to hear back from them.     This will be our first time with this type of fishing so any pointers on poles, line, and anything else would be very helpful. We have our crappie gear and that is about it. I did look at the links LLL posted  with the tackle so have an idea of what to bring in that area.
Thanks Larry and everyone else who has helped put this thing together because it is always a big pain in the butt to try and organize a bunch of misfits like us but you guys have done a great job.   Look forward to getting back on the water and enjoying time with each of you.
GOD BLESS

Will we need to put in a special order for all the crawlers we will need? Will Probably need a full flat for the week for each trailer. How early should we put an order in?

Hey Dave - can you talk to Richard at Liars Korner about this.  See if you can get us an AZCA discount   :dontknow:  on maybe 3 or 4 flats?  I don't know, will we need more than that?

Wade, I'll post my thoughts about rods in the other thread you mentioned.

I was thinking back to last year and between 8 people we went through a flat in 3 days. Might need more for this trip. Maybe 4 people to a flat for the week? Once we come up with a number I'll talk to Richard. I'm hoping he will hook us up on a price. Last year it was 75 per flat, but we only got one.

Maybe a flat for each boat. Last year we had one flat for 3 boats, 7 fisherman for 3.5 days and it seemed to be just right. So 7 days for 3-4 fisherman should be about right per flat.
