Patty

Ok, so I'm thinking that Billy Ho & I will bunk with Tritoon, if that's ok Wade...........
It was a struggle but Patty finally agreed to take one of the other beds so that we can bunk together. Should be an interesting week.

Tritoon, here's what I know. My Az ccw has reciprocity in Utah. If on an Indian Rez, keep it in the vehicle. Same as Az. (Except San Carlos open carry is allowed.) what else is there to know? Practice, practice.
My Washington ccw just expired and I have not gotten one here as yet, so I guess it better stay in the open.    Thanks HW
GOD BLESS

I'll shack up in Trailer #2 with Hallibut Warrior, sauerjj, etc.  I'll bring my sleeping pad, sleeping bag, etc.  Sleeping in living room - I gotta see this.  If this trailer stays up later than me, I may shift to other trailer and will play by ear.  Hallibut/sauerrj - any of you bringing a full sized coffee maker, coffee, etc. to split between 4 of us?  I can bring mine and/or coffee - let me know.  I need, really need, just 16oz in the AM and I'm good to go.

Also, anyone know if Sportsmans or Bass Pro has Lake Powell Fish-N-Map?  I'm assuming I get the 'north' one or if you have other suggestion on type of map to get and where, let me know.

Finally, the directions for the drive up.  I don't know which post had all the talk about turnoff, and road issues.  I did print out the mapquest directions on the first page of this discussion.   Cousinlll, how do those instructions look - are they still valid?  If I recall, there aren't any road closures we will hit but we might just be impacted by heavier traffic because of other closures, correct?

Matt,

I think you will find us to be early to bed group. Not much for late night any more. As for coffee maker, HW is planning to bring one but do not know about the size. I am the only one of group that does not drink coffee. Our plans for breakfast will be cold cereal, donuts or danish. I don't know if you want to join with us on this or with the group you will be fishing with. Our lunch plans are simple and going to be made on the boat so we can stay out all day baring wind.

The North map is the one you want but they are expensive and whoever has your boat will surly have one. All the new depth finder/GPS units also have HD maps on them as well. The road route up there is pretty straight forward and with a GPS should be no problems. The road closure is not on our route so it is also no factor.

Like Dick mentioned, the Fish-n-Map Lake Powell North is the best one to get.  It'll defiantly comes in handy for first timers and I know I'll still be using it to remember which canyon is where.

There should hopefully be no issues in the travel route.  I encourage those that have larger rigs to google "Moki Dugway" to get idea of the shortcut route we take that's just outside of Mexican Hat.

I'll bring mine as well so we can blow a fuse running both in the AM.
