I can't remember what happened yesterday - too much jet exhaust!   But your suggestion to poach Brian's spot is a very good one!!   :bootyshake: :o  He'll never figure it out.  In the morning we'll catch say a dozen or so fish then leave for lunch, letting Brian's spot reload for the early evening bite where we'll continue the poaching........

That's it.

Even a longer walk from the ramp to vehicle!

How far down does it have to get when they close that ramp?

Dave stopped at Liar's Corner this morning to get some crawler info from Richard.  Said he need a couple weeks lead time to order.  I'm thinking we need to figure out how many we need to order by the beginning of April.

One flat contains 500 crawlers at $70 plus he also sells a half flat with 250 crawlers for $40

I am going to need a firm number for the crawler order. Please don't tell me you just want crawlers, as I would like a realistic number. I have heard some people say that 2 dozen a day per person. Just let me know what you want, and I'll make sure we get them. I would like to place the order this coming weekend if I can. I will post current prices from Liar's Corner. Also need some input as to online vendors. Like this one.

7 days fishing x 2 dozen per day = 168 nightcrawlers per person for the week.   Tom, a half of flat is 250 crawlers - slightly less the 2 dozen per day but close.  I would think a half a flat for us would be good.   We can jig too.  What do you think?

Full flat, Using funny math, Figure 7 + days with 3 per boat, 500 / 7 = 49 or so per day / 3 guys  = 18 + crawlers each per day. I usually use a half crawler so double that to around 36+ 1/2 crawlers per day per person. I usually use a 1/2 crawler so that would put us at about 18 each per day. Plus I want to focus on the jig bite so put us down for a 1/2 a flat as well. Does it make sense?

Prices for the crawlers at Liar's Corner have not changed. $70 for a 500 count flat. $40 for 250 half flat tax not included. If you follow the link above, and use the 2nd day shipping due to the heat. I come up with $105.71 per 500 count flat.

How about the three of us get one flat?

My opinion on the mail order deal - We know what the crawlers at Liars Corner look like.  Shop local & keep Richard & Liar's Corner in business.
