Here we go again y'all, its time for Spring Crappie-Fest.

This year we reserved both the Goose and Coot Loops so we'll have plenty of room for all. Here are some of the events going on at SCF:

Friday 2pm both loops- SCF beings and all registered users of this site are welcome to join us and set up camp.
Friday 5pm Goose Loop- Open BBQ and Hawk's Chicken-Fest. The AZCA will provide the charcoal and Hawk will burn some bird for us. Friday 6 pm Goose Loop- Get the camp fire going!

Saturday 6 am Goose Loop- The fishing derby being with sign ups and live well checks.
Saturday 3 pm Goose Loop- Weight in! Then prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places.
Saturday 4pm Goose Loop- Official AZCA Meeting and introductions of our new Prez and VP.
Saturday 5pm Goose Loop- Billy Hawk famous AZCA raffle!
Saturday 5:30pm Goose Loop- Fish Fry and Pot Luck Dinner!
Saturday 6pm Goose Loop- Camp fire again

Sunday morning its time to get both loops cleaned up and pack out. When the last AZCA member leaves, the loops must be empty.

who are permitted in the fishing derby?

Papermouth

You're permitted. Any registered member on this site is as well.

Someone else correct me if I'm wrong, (because it's been a few years since I've fished it) but at least 1 registered member of the site has to be on the boat. You could bring family members or friends if they're not registered as long as you are... which you clearly are. :)

I'm sure Matt will comment but I believe another important rule is you can only have 4 poles in the water at one time...

OneBlade

I will post the derby rules here soon but need to confirm it is o.k. to do so.

Regardless, yes each team must have at least one member of the Arizona Crappie Association or a registered user of azcrappie.com on it.  And yes 4 pole limit per team, you can have up to 4 people on your team but only 4 poles in the water at a time. One team per boat.
