Lake Powell Water Levels

For those inquiring minds that are dying to know, here is some info on the current lake elevation vs. the past three years according to my notes:

Tuesday's lake elevation: 3578

2013's lake elevation at the end of April: 3597 with water temps of 57-61

2012's lake elevation at the beginning of May: 3635 with water temp of 61

2011's lake elevation at the end of April: 3611 with water temps of 55-57

So the lake is currently 19' lower than last year when we were there at the end of April.  It'll probably go down a bit more but then it'll rise with the spring snow melt & runoff.  And that's the million dollar question as to how much the lake will rise in the spring.  Care to wager the lake elevation for April 26th.....

I believe Matt asked about this - Per Wayne's Words the minimum safe launching lake level for the Hall's Crossing ramp is 3550.

As Brian mentioned in another post - lake water level has taken the turn & is now heading up.  Slow but sure so post your lake level guesses  for that just reward of a cold beer!  And no changing of your original guess.....
