So after a few calls with just getting voice mail I finally talked to the receptionist last Monday.  Said Jeremy (who help Brian make reservations last year) was in the office but in a meeting with the boss.  Left my information & what we needed with her to have him call me back.  No returned call so I tried calling a few times on Friday with just voice mail.  Didn't leave a message.

I might need some help trying to get our Family Units reserved given my work schedule.  They're woking off season hours and unsure of their schedule.  Don't think we should bombard them with calls but maybe a few calling would help?

Here's what Brian set up last year:  "So the deal is someone needs to reserve a cabin in their name for $125 per night, can cancel anytime up to 24 hrs prior without penalty. Contact either john Motley or Jeremy Russell to secure your cabin. 435-684-3032"

Hey Wadefisherman - Brian, how much of a pain was it to get this deal & contacting them last year?

It was hit and miss, they usually called back...eventually. :banghead:

Ok guys, I finally was able to talk to Aramark about our lodging at Hall's Crossing.......

Here's the deal - I have reserved 4 ea Family Units for Saturday, May 2nd arrival with Saturday, May 9th being the departure date.  Rate is the same as last year of $125 per night per Family Unit.  With tax & all the other BS it comes out to $152.43 per night per Family Unit.

Description of the Family Units:  http://www.lakepowell.com/accomodations/family-accommodations.aspx

Your Halls Crossing Family Unit features almost 1,000 square feet of living space, including three bedrooms (with two queen beds and one double bed), two full bathrooms (with tub/shower), and a kitchen that comes complete with stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, and enough dishes and utensils to serve eight. Outside, you'll enjoy a deck with a table and four chairs—and easy access to the launch ramp, marina, and convenience store.

Three bedrooms, with two queen beds and one double bed.
Two bathrooms with combination tub/shower.
Sleeps seven (maximum occupancy eight).
Fully-equipped kitchen with dishes and utensils for eight people.
Microwave, linens, television, VHS/DVD player.
Picnic table and charcoal grill.
Air conditioning and heating.
Pets are allowed, but units will not be serviced if pets are left unattended.

As stated above, there are 3 bedrooms - one of which is what I call the "honeymoon suite" as it is in the front of the unit (which is a single wide mobile home) and has its own private queen bed & full bathroom.  This suite is perfect for a husband/wife or boyfriend/girlfriend combo.  There is a second full bathroom shared by the other two bedrooms and a full kitchen.

What I need now is commitment from you guys and to start filling bedrooms to see if we actually need all 4 Family Units.  Once this has begun, we'll assign one person from each Family Unit to call & put a one night deposit down on that unit.  There's no good way to do this but one suggestion I do have is assign Family Unit(s) by boat??  :dontknow:  That helps a bit when it comes to assigning meals, I think.....

Who's in - Who wants to go but needs a backseat - Please speak up!  This list is from the other thread but please update your status:

Soon to be new members & Lake Powell Walleye gurus Mike & Debbie are in for our trip once again this year!  That'll fill up one Family Unit's "Honeymoon Suite" so now looking for another couple or two to fill up the other ones.

I'm thinking Mr. & Mrs. Sandman would enjoy this trip so I'll nominate them for taking another "Honeymoon Suite"........

Above list updated as people commit to the trip.....

Jerry - I'm assuming you are NOT dragging your camper (just your boat) down this year & want to bunk in a Family Unit?  If so, is the Merlot Kid joining you or....??
