Has anybody heard if there will be an invasive species inspection station at halls crossing this year as it sounds like all is really under watch. Even though I have to be inspected at the border when I enter Idaho and again at the lake in Idaho before launch. I would need paper work to avoid a citation travelling in Utah.

Last year there was a gubment worker at the top of the ramp talking about it but I don't think that he ever got out of his truck.

Just got an answer back on Lake Powell Web site (WayneWords.net) John Steffan is answering Questions and they will have somebody inspecting at Halls Crossing Thursday thru Sunday for now and starting in May will have somebody inspecting 7 days a week.  This will be (as I understand) before launch and also after retrieval.

There is a topic post on Waynes words on Quagga Mussel decon that is a good read. Posted yesterday.  If we don't leave Bullfrog the Bullfrog area, :3some: we don't have to be inspected every time we put in and take out.  I understand just the first day we put in and the last day we take out for (inspections--decontamination)
