Government Shut Down

Lake Powell crew, not to be the bearer of bad news but you may need to pay attention to the US Government Budget. We are scheduled for another shut-down Friday at midnight if a budget compromise is not agreed upon. The last time this happened it effected the National Parks which includes Lake Powell. I was poking around on Wayne Words today and saw this topic. You may want to follow the thread that is currently up. Go to Wayne's Words website to Lake Powell fishing and then look for the topic government shut down. I hope the government gets their poop in group and it does not effect your trip. Worst case scenario is a partial government shut down and they will road block you from entering Powell and turn you around.

With dealing with all the housing issues and getting them resolved this would obviously be a major kick right in the groin.
