Can't you get there the back way? Go through Globe and launch at Grapevine or Schoolhouse?

I was going to post this info on FB, but want to make sure it's correct.

Fishless

not sure but they are now evacuating Sunflower and Apache lake, I thought I saw where 188 was closed at 288 (the road to Young)

What I read was that 188 was closed between the 87 and 88. So you should be able to take the 60 to 188 and get to the salt side.

With things changing quickly, I'd probably advise not to post anything - let them follow ADOT or other sources for that info.  Pretty wild this fire is already near top 10 for size in AZ.

If I posted, it was just going to be a shared link for what TNF already shared. We haven't posted anything in a while, So I wanted to get something fresh.

They just announced this morning 188 is now closed from state route 87 over to Globe by ADOT fire is going in several directions
