On the lake by 7:30am, Wallyg and I fished salt side trying a few techniques (drop shot with bare hook, jig/grub/minnow, and vertical trolling) but basically fishing off bottom in 20-30ft of water with live minnows we ended up with just 7 crappie (one blacknose).  Lost a lot of gear and minnows breaking through snags.  Very quiet on the lake.
Fished near a guy with Ranger Fishermen Series with 250HP, very nice I'd like that boat.
