Not here in AZ but PA still noteworthy. The monstrous white crappie, caught through the ice at Lake Wilhelm, measured 20 inches and weighed 4.02 pounds, falling less than 3 ounces shy of the state record.

When is it my turn?

that must be an old fish :dontknow: they have such a short growing season back northeast.

I often hear of some bigger ones caught in other states in "farm ponds".  Build yourself a little pond in your backyard and let it grow should only take a few years in AZ. I think a few AZCA members have caught a 3lb-er but seems like it's been awhile since I've seen one. I still haven't caught one either so far my biggest is 2.49lbs but caught Dec 2020 so gives me hope they are out there.  20" out here would probably be over 4 1/4lb probably near state record (San Carlos trip anyone???).

San Carlos has not gained much water and they are already releasing water for irrigation :dontknow:

Wife caught (and released) a 17 1/2 inch 3.3 pounder (full of spawn) so they are out there

When and where was this spotter. That's a great fish.
When in doubt, set the hook!
