LETS GO CRAPPIE ANGLERS! Last LTF event for the season is this coming Saturday.
You can have up to 4 people on boat, use live bait, 7 fish get weighed in.
Pay online or at the lake.
Meet some great people and fellow anglers. Bass tournament goes out along with crappie anglers.
Lots of fun for family & friends.

The LTF Crappie event for June was a blast. With the weekend following a holiday, super hot weather and a couple of teams backing out at the last minute there were just two boats that showed up for the Saturday event. My partner and I were very lucky to have found a good bite on Friday and it continued the rest of the weekend. We managed to win the Saturday tournament and being that we were the only team to fish enough qualifying tournaments through the season we locked down the Anglers of The Year award on Sunday.

We weighed close to 12 pounds on Saturday and Sunday (early weigh in) we weighed in close to 11 pounds.
Our bite seemed to be early in the morning vertical jigging in 23 – 30 ft. The bite really slowed for us about 11:00am until weigh in time. We used mostly plastics and some live minnows. The ones we found seemed to like the plastics better.
After the event on Saturday LTF provided a full dinner spread with pulled pork sandwiches, veggies, & all the fixings.
It was great talking to some of the bass anglers that would come up to us asking how to catch crappie because they wanted to take their families fishing.
