2024 Bob Hirsch Crappie Classic Results

Congrats to Team Crappie Sniper (Randy Howton, Brock Howton), winners of this year's Bob Hirsch Crappie Classic weighing in 7 fish with weight total of 13.45lbs winning $340. Team Crappie Sniper also won the Wild Willie Biggest Crappie weighing in at 2.34lbs winning another $340.  In 2nd place winning $204, Team Crappie 4 Life C4L (JT Butler, Eric Minar) weighed in 11.82lbs and in 3rd place winning $136, Team Crappietiers (Florin Nesiu, Andrew Nesiu) weighed in 10.90lbs.  Results have been posted in the azcrappie.com website. This tournament was held at Roosevelt Lake and 17 teams participated. Most fish were caught in trees/structure, with the bigger crappie caught deep in the trees often at depths of 25-40ft.

In addition to the tournament, we had a great time with all 16 campsites filled at the Grapevine Coot loop campground Wednesday through Sunday.  At the raffle, we gave away a lot of prizes from top notch BnM and ACC Crappie Stix rods to a Canyon Cooler. And of course, the fish fry potluck was amazing!
