Crappie fishing sucked.  Went up the Aqua Fria arm and found trees but could only manage bluegill out of them.  Did find crappie, we think, but couldn't get them to bite. We tried minnows as well as jigs.  We also checked out Humbug late in the day, no luck.

They held the NCL tournament there on Saturday and I don't have all of the numbers but I do know crappie_4_life (C4L) Eric Minar (Houdini) and JT Butler (SlaBBDaddy) took 2nd and weighed in 5 fish at 4.04 lbs.

On Sunday for the Veteran's tournament, it sounded like 1/3 to 1/2 of those participating didn't catch a crappie.
