Fished Bartlett on Saturday - on the water by 6:30am.  I trolled Cat Bay through Squaw Flats looking for crappie. Trolled with jig tipped with minnow and another line with nightcrawler and a spinner.  I fished 6-10' deep and was in water ranging from 4' to 25'.  Caught 3 crappie, 2 of them on the nightcrawler.  Not sure why they didn't like my jig as I initially had 2 jigs out to start.  I also caught 15 bass and 3 catfish in that area and Alder Pt.  Looking forward to frying up the fish for my kids.

I did see some others in the same area fishing for crappie.  I had my AZcrappie shirt on and mentioned the site....  Maybe they'll stop in for look.

thanks for the report, wondering what the water temp is if you have the temp sensor and how stained is the lake, last time it was not bad for clarity?

thanks

My temp gauge on my fish finder said 82 mid-morning.  I jumped in a few times and it felt great.  As for water clarity?  Not sure what to compare it with as I haven't been to that lake in a half year.  It didn't seem that bad but Piscolli maybe could give his take as he went a week ago.
