We fish morning, noon, afternoon, night. Not a single crappie. We tried everything we could think of with not a single crappie bite. We did manage to catch plenty of very small bass and some fat bluegill. Asked the ranger if any crappie had been being caught and he said he only heard of two last week sometime. Weather change and moon may have factored in, don't know but they sure were off this week.
