:blob1: :blob1: :blob1: Have a window of opportunity and going to jump on it before it slams shut in my face. There hasn't been much news from Alamo for some time so I figure we might as well go see what is up. And no phone reception so no bad news can reach me. Hopefully I will have some pictures for Brian and Willie. Will post what we find.
Excited for you guys good luck!
Good luck! Wish I could go.
Good Luck guys! Pics or it never happened.....
We did fair. Caught 6 Tuesday, 5 Wednesday, and 3 Thursday. Not a lot but it was just great to get out. Most boats were trolling the buoy line and getting nothing. We tried there with no luck then went into the trees picking up 1. We moved into the coves and trolled at .8 in 25-35 fow and started picking up one here and there. We stuck with the pattern the rest of our time there. Water temperature at the launch was 64 at daylight and 67 in the coves then warming up to 71 by afternoon.
Ramp was in good condition and had no problems launching the blue blob. We were first at the launch each morning and one of the last few off. Only 8 - 10 launching each day so not crowded at all.
I will attempt to post some pics but it keeps failing so who knows what I am doing wrong.
Hope this works
Nice job triton I bet you enjoyed getting out.
Glad you guys were able to get out and get some.
Good work. Thanks for sharing.
talk about a dead calm lake :o
Each morning as daylight approached there would be just a little wind to ruffle the water up a bit then it would be calm all day until about 2, then the wind would come up for a while then calm down in the evening. Perfect. Having the dock at the launch is a big plus, makes things much easier. The launch area is in great shape and there is plenty of room. I can't wait for another opportunity to back up there and enjoy the peace and quiet.
One of our favorite lakes.

Great report Wade! Looks like some quality fish. Alamo just might be a good choice for Billy Ho's end of the year search for Moby 3.0...... We'll see how it plays out but remaining stagnant with the same ole same ole is getting old :glasses9: But that decision will always be up to the man, the legend Billy Ho!
The Ho still looking for Moby? All this time its been on my dinning room wall. :angry4:
Fish pics, wo hoooo. Feeling better already, nice job. :headbang:
