Fished Alamo today with Wild Willie and a few friends, we boated 18 fish with 16 being keepers. We had one double, the fish seemed to be scattered today. There was a super bright full moon on the way to the lake. Don't know if it helped or hindered the bite. We didn't see many other boats pulling many fish out. The fish were scattered and our best bite was by the western shoreline past the bouys in about 20' of water. Slow trolling minnows was the trick today. Off the lake by 1:30, water temp was 54 degrees.

I can't wait to retire. Fishing on Tuesday at Alamo. Nice.
Good job guys, glad to see that there is still some form of a bite up there. Can't wait to get back on the water, this helps me get motivated.
Funny thing was there must have been 25 boats in the flotilla. Going back Saturday for more.
thx for the report . only minnows or jigs tipped with em?
I have never fished in Alamo. Where do you put in and where is the flotilla? I guess I need to go see Bill at BPS to get me a map. Might run by there today after work.

When you get to Alamo, head for the Ranger Station. You check in there at the self check in kiosk by filling out the form/envelope and paying. Go maybe 150 yds past the check in point and you'll see the store on the right. You can get minnows there and the guy at the store will show you on the map just where to go. You can launch right near there or you can launch at the Cholla ramp.
Good Luck.
I only used minnows, some of the other guys were using spinners and jigs.

Minnows on jig heads just barely trolled at .1 mph or so with 5 pulls of line works pretty good on alamo right now. Caught 32 that way this week.
Nice job on that.
32 thats some nice fishing, congrats
