Couldn't find someone to go with me so I went by myself to Alamo this morning. Hit the lake at 0720 and first fish was boated by 0745 and it was a double. It made it challenging with a 16' rod and me by myself but I managed to put both of them in the boat. The bite was sporadic and I'd go 30-45 min without a bite but then I'd get 3-4 fish in the boat in just 10 minutes. Fished the buoy line towards the dam on the west side of the lake. Fish were caught with the drop shot rig in 30-35 FOW down 5-12' going 0.3-0.5 mph. The wind kicked up at 1130 and I was off the lake by 1145 with 14 nice Crappie.
