Hit the lake with my buddy Zach before he leaves for Korea tomorrow. He is the one the that got me started spider-rigging out here in our lakes, I had done it back in Florida but never though it would work out here so it's not like it was totally new to me. As those of you that do it know it works, I have only fished that way for the last several years. We hit the lake at first light and headed down lake towards the river. The fish were very scattered but we managed to take over 20 before we left the lake at 1045 because Zach had an appointment to pick up a U-Haul at 1300. The fish were caught between 18-10 FOW 3-12' down going .03-.07 mph. Water temp was almost 61 degrees when we left.
You guys had a couple great days fishing! Thanks for the posts and GOOD LUCK ZACK AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE :headbang:
I fished with my wife's cousin who just recently retired and moved here. His first time fishing for crappie ever. We ended up with 25. I saw 63 for water temps on my graph right before we left at 1. Good seeing both of you guys out there.
