Went to into humbug after work and started looking for trees. Found lots of fish everywhere except in the trees. I got two bites throwing a jig nothing actually hooked up. All the suspended fish didn't even look at my bait so I'm pretty sure they were gizzard shad. The picture I attached is what my graph looked like the whole time. The only place I didn't go where they might be was less than 10 FOW. I'm convinced lake plez sucks, at least for crappie. I suppose it's possible those fish are crappie but they didn't want to eat?
Thanks for the report. What I've heard from Randy's prior reports is you'll have to hit a lot of trees and once you find the 1 or 2 with crappie, you're good to go. Also, did you try Aqua Fria Arm? When it's not closed because of eagle/waterfowl closure, always try the arm as I know that's first place I'd try when crappie fishing.
The bigger ones in the tree might be crappie, but depends if they were moving a lot or pretty still would tell. The small stuff on top might be baitfish or who knows especially if you saw it that way the entire time.
