Title: how water proof is the minn kota foot control?

anyone know how water proof the electronic foot control for the minn kota trolling motors are? got sprinkled on at pleasant yesterday but started to wonder if it poured (which I have been in) how water proof they are? or if it rains heavy if I should disconnect it and put it in dry storage locker and use the hand held remote control? :dontknow:

the PC board is incased in silicone, should be fine in a down pour

Mines bin everything but fully submerged. still works fine
