OneBlade

Got late start - launched at Grapevine and found nice habitat there.  No bites.  Headed around by I think it was Why Cove entrance and no luck there either. Fished near Windy Hill and caught 1 loner crappie at 2pm.  Caught casting to shore with 1/16 oz jig with BBC 2" grub and minnow.  Had a few other bites and great stuff on the graph but couldn't land anymore.  Several other AZCA members fishing getting ready for the Spring Crappie Fest on April 4-6 (see link at top right).  A few got skunked and others caught up to 3 I think.  Great weather and looking forward to the fest.

TRITOON

Nice report Matt. Sounds like it is still a tough deal out there. Should be happening any time. Maybe fest time it will be lively.
GOD BLESS

Like Oneblade I  was only able to pick up one crappie Sat on the salt end.

Picked up two first thing in the morning spider rigging in 8 to 15 FOW. One nice male, and a female. Bite died as soon as the area I was in got swarmed with pressure. I moved around to about 5 different areas, but no more fish.
SEA.....HAWKS....

Those fish look great.  Glad you had some success out there.

A little salt to the wound...lol, need to move the event to Alamo, everyone would have limits of large fish. I won't rub it in to hard, we are family after all.

That would be great if Alamo had the facilities to comfortably host as large of a group as SCF draws. Patti and I both enjoy fishing that lake and the campsites are nice. They just need more large ramadas.
