Fished with the family today from safe light until 1100. Caught 27 Crappie in just 4 hours with most fish coming in the first 2 hours.  Julian, our foreign exchange student caught his first fish today and ended up with 6 fish. Christian out fished me by one fish but I ended up with the biggest going just under 2 lbs. We fished up lake concentrating on drop offs that go from 15 to 30 FOW. Only kept 7 for the oil and released all the others.

Good job. Great to get a new fisherman into the fish.

Just finished eating some nice Bartlett filets with some jalapeno hushpuppies and onion rings.

Nice!  Isn't that the best when you're all home and unpacked and then eat the fruits of your 'labor'?!

Good we got you hooked on those jalapeno hushpuppies, I have now moved on to using habenaro but Patty is stuck on the jalapeno also.
GOD BLESS

Fishless

Good job Mac, had several opportunities to take new people fishing, (some times it is great) other times I have to tell them with fishing you have to "pay your dues"----------and the old worn out adage that's why they call it fishing instead of catching :crybaby2:
"I won't be wronged, I won't be insulted, and I won't be laid a hand on. I don't do these things to other people and I expect the same from them." John Bernard Books
