SRP has made the switch to Bartlett

saw today that SRP is now releasing 400CFS out of Bartlett and only 100cfs out of saguaro, they will probably slowly take the salt side down to 8cfs and do all their water demands from Bartlett by Dec. 1st, you will see Bartlett drop fastttttttt, and that should screw up the crappie bite

Hopefully they will only move out to deeper water in the same areas. The only problem with that is that's where all the boat traffic is!

The weather guys are saying El Nino fell apart and they are expecting a barely average winter? right now it is so stable weather wise I wonder if it will ever rain/snow, I would like to see the lake come up 10' or so from where it is now and flood all the new brush, salt cedar etc. that would be great for spawning crappie and giving the fry a place to hide. Guess we will have to wait and see, when they complete the switch over it will probably be 500cfs releases which will drop that lake 6+" per day.

looks like the prediction for this winter is dismal according to SRP and forecasters, SRP has switched back to the salt side to draw down water for future storage so now releases are coming from saguaro and they have dropped the releases back down from bartlett to 100cfs so bartlett will ever so slowly start going back up, don't know if this is a plan for the entire winter or just for a short while. This fall has been one for the records as far as no storms and incredible temps in the 70 and 80's daily
