Unit should be delivered this week from Cabela's warehouse. I can't get out until Feb 5. (Doc's orders). Here's HOPING I can sit on a school of crappies and/or move with them??? Or maybe troll into a school rather than NEXT TO IT! I will be taking it back to WI in May and use it to find walleyes and crappies there too. It's a bunch of money but as my wife said,,, with your health the way it is, either you spend it, or your kids will. I'll be glad to report pro's and con's. As for, outings I don't know,,, last year it was Alamo in Feb.  I know,,, it was COLD,,, my toaster oven slid off the picnic table on the ICE!!!

Not sure if your aware of this yet but there are apparently issues with software update 6.57.  Take a look at this link & see if it applies to you.

Thanks for the heads up. I do not have the I-Pilot connection,, no need here since I follow tree lines rather than contours. I am using software version 5.7 right now. I was told by Humminbird that AFTER I get the 360 unit, I need to register it. Humminbird will THEN send me the software to activate it. Hopefully they will have the kinks out of it by then.

AS FOR PEOPLE FOLLOWING ME. I have an I-Pilot,,, I love the tracking system,, set it and forget it,, speed and track,, UNTIL someone cuts in front of you. I don't blame them,,, they have no clue I'm on auto-pilot. So to have people follow me would be a blessing! As for cutting someone off. I used to charter on Lake Michigan for Salmon. You may see 20 boats trolling clockwise around a school of fish,, then along comes Da-Da and trolls the other way.
