Thousands of dead carp floating up in the river at Bartlett

Report of numerous dead carp floating up in the river end of Bartlett. G and F went out and investigated and counted quickly over 5,000 dead carp and one dead crappie floating in the river. They have taken water and fish samples. They do not believe it is any disease or golden algae they are thinking with this unseasonable warm weather that things may of turned over and reduced oxygen in the water very quickly. They will report their findings when complete.

Larry and I saw a bunch of them this past Saturday.  No report cause there were no fish caught other than bass.
