I fished yesterday with Kasey and my oldest son. Rick (visiting from Pa.), from 10 until 1:15 and the fish were in government shut down for us! Fishing three habitats Kasey caught a bass and Rick a crappie and I zipped. My friends Jack and another Rick also had 1 crappie when we left but said the bite turned on shortly after. They fished eight or nine habitats and caught 14 crappie and a couple other species on minnow tipped jigs. Late bite! Merry Christmas to all. ........Art

Thanks for the info.  Fishing on Saturday, by noon I had lost most hope.  It's interesting to find out the other boat only had 1 at 1:15pm and ended up catching 13 in the afternoon.
