I ended up ordering a used trim assembly from ebay. It's a good thing I did as you can see what I found when I pulled the shock rod out. No parts like that on the IPC. It must have bounced really hard on the way to the lake.

did you have a transom support on or was the motor just resting on the trim ?

Geez Dave looks like a bomb went off inside of that hydraulic ram Those two dips just north of Wendon have almost got me a couple times the one is mellow to drive thru the other one you hit that to fast and you can go airborne.

I did have a transom saver on. When we got to the lake it was still attached to the engine, but was not on the trailer roller
