A-Cross road through Tonto creek gone at Roosevelt

Lots of people in Tonto Basin not happy but the TFN has decided to shut down A-Cross road that when it is open was the easiest way to get to Indian Point Launch ramp crossing tonto creek. They have started tearing out the road to return it to "its natural state" they are leaving the much worse crossing Bar X open for now. The new bridge that was supposed to be completed in January is now projected to be completed in June

I just went on a side by side ride on A Cross this weekend.  It seemed about what I remember when I had gone to Indian Point ramp last year in my truck...
