The Arizona Game & Fish Department is requesting input on proposed changes to 2025-26 Arizona fishing regulations including this suggested rule change: Change crappie bag limits in Apache, Canyon, Saguaro lakes and Lake Pleasant to 15 crappie per day to match the bag limits at Bartlett and Roosevelt lakes.

From AZGFD:

Ya regrettably they did not include all warm water lakes such as Alamo and Patagonia or the minimum size requirement of 10" or less release.

that sounds like good input.  I'm going to use the email as well to indicate I agree with the limits but also request future changes to impose the limit at Alamo and Patagonia lakes, and the 10" minimum is good as well.

Daily limits, possession limits , size limits on every lake.  Bravo.  E-mailed this morning.

I don't disagree with bag or size limits, but seriously, if they are not there (mostly ever) to enforce all the flagrant violations most of us see each time we are on the water, a bag limit on Alamo is just a waste of time.  Let alone the other lakes mentioned.

I bet a person could gill net or even trawl any of the crappie lakes mentioned without being cited.
