From Varn Chavez on Facebook:

Hit up Bartlett yesterday, looked for them at yellow cliffs and north of there. Found in about 25ft of water, in trees/bushes. Water temp has cooled slightly to about 81. Air temp while out there was a nice 62* and went up to high 80's-  very nice.
They were hitting pretty hard on minnows primarily, but would chase a jig through the top of the bush/tree. Minnows could be vertically jigged, but not plastics to get a bite. Regardless, they were not shy about biting. There were swarms of shad around.
Used minnows hooked at dorsal fin (worked best) on a 18-24" leader with a hook at the bottom and a #4 split shot weight at the top of the leader. Plastic was on 1/16 jig, using bobby garland monkey milk baby shad.
Got about 30 total fish over 6 hours, with several bluegill and a bass and cat or two. It wasn't crazy, but pretty steady all morning. Biggest came in at 1.76lbs, most were average sized with maybe 7 that needed to grow up.
I expected the super moon to negatively affect the bite, but it didn't. They are filling Bartlett up again, expected to rise by 10ft by the 24th, according to SRP. Watch for debris and the water change may impact where they end up.
Good luck.
