Prefished BHCC tournament Roosevelt Salt river end Friday Oct 4th afternoon and found some crappie in trees 30-40ft of water, caught on jigs with minnows. Wasn't trolling this time rather getting 10-25ft from tree and casting into them. Saturday Oct 5th on the water early and similar pattern although found we caught a few more just using just a bare hook with minnow and small split shot for weight. Still a bit hot out so took a dip in the water a couple times.  Also caught some b@ss and a big c@tfish that was gonna break my net until it fell out.  Good luck out there and if you go out, be sure and post a report for the rest of us!
