They gave no warning this was going to happen, hope the people camped on the beach in SB cove know to move their rigs up higher?

-------- Update 12/9/2024 -------- SRP plans to release water from Horseshoe Dam through the spillway along the Verde River into Bartlett Lake beginning approximately at 9:00 am Monday, December 9, 2024, at the rate of approximately 2,000 cubic feet per second. The release will continue for approximately 10 days and end on Thursday, December 19, 2024. Bartlett Lake will rise 10 - 12 feet (approximately 1.0 - 2.0 feet per day) and Horseshoe Lake will drop 10 - 12 feet over this period. Please plan accordingly for lake level changes. SRP will provide additional updates if any further changes to releases from Horseshoe Dam are necessary due to updated weather/watershed conditions.
