Should have gone to San Carlos like everyone else!

Nothing at the Tonto end, but saw some people catch a few trolling.

Caught a few outside Salome.

Bass fishing was pretty good though.

Roosevelt can be hit or miss, as I'm sure you know.  The little storm or front that came through last Friday impacted Roosevelt (and San Carlos) but it can take Roosevelt a bit longer to recover for some reason.  San Carlos is still hitting and I bet it'll be great still for at least another week.... but ya never know.  The shallow bite is usually short-lived.

I saw from one of the guides that they had to work pretty hard to catch some the other day at Roosevelt.  They still caught maybe 20 but that's from a pro who knows the lake in and out so I typically don't expect to catch those numbers - I'm usually 1/4 of whatever they catch :-(
