Title: Roosevelt 3/23
Post by: cousinlll on March 24, 2012, 02:49 AM
Fished Roosevelt this afternoon & evening.  Trolled around Why Cove & then along the northern shoreline across from School House till dark - no joy!  Anchored up & threw out da lights at dusk outside one of the bigger coves.  Took a bit but did manage to catch 6 Crappie & 1 Bass all on minnows.  Only one of the Crappie was a keeper.  Water temps ranged from 63-64 near Why Cove to 62 along the northern shoreline.  More details in the clubhouse...

It will get better soon.
The big event next month should be fun!!
Sounds like the cold front  last week didn't hurt the water temp.
heading out the door to SC now. will post tonight,

Menrats, you're doing SC tomorrow really?  Wind hasn't scared you?  Rare chance I might see you up there.
