Sparkchaser & I fished Bartlett Friday evening & night - after a comedy of errors we FINALLY got on da lake around 5pm launching at Da Flatts. We managed to bring home 7 keepers, 1 dink returned to grow up. Off the lake around 12:30 am. All except one were caught after dark under da lights with minnow rigs. The bite for us was extremely light & very quick.

bet you had a gazzilion shad around the lights? they were sure all over thursday afternoon in cat bay?
Yea there were quite a few of them all night long, but no more than we usually see. The crappie stole our minnors all night long. Every time you would reach to set the hook, the fish were gone along with the minnows. Even when I had one of my poles out of the holder, the bite was extremely light.
