Well I must say the crappie have really shut off out here. Got on water 7ish. 67 water temp. Clarity has dropped to 1 ft. Hopefully they slow down release so it will settled down. I went jigging all day with 1/16 oz jig and bbc sometimes tipped with a meal worm. Thought I try something different. Didn't work. I mean I was getting bites but I believe just lil blues. Did hook up with a 3lb channel on my 10ft pole with 4lb or 6lb line can't remember. Took me 10 mins to get into boat pulling drag almost spooled me. I kicked trolling motor on 5 and let her rip. One of the best fights I have ever had. He liked the bbc with mealworm. Crazy!! Ill be out again sometime this week with a buddy of mine.
