Title: New Fishing Licences
Post by: on the rocks on January 02, 2014, 07:41 AM
Bought my 2014 license on line as I did not have time to go Game and Fish and saw stories of retailers not having any. My question is does the 2014 license include the two pole stamp. I did not see where I could pay the extra for the two pole privilege so I am assuming it is like the trout stamp and urban license which is now included in the price of 2014 license, but you know what they say about assuming. Just want to do things right and be legal. Can anyone confirm or refute my assumption?

Thanks!!!

Either way you went fish only, or hunt and fish combo, it is included in the new price. Page 4

Another change is the license is good for 1 calender year from the date of purchase, not the end of the year..  That's the reason nobody had them prior to January 1st.

Vendors got the licenses on the 1st, trouble is none of them were trained on the new rules for the licenses :o I got mine at 10am and when I asked about the 2 pole issue I got the "deer in the headlight look" from the salesman so I went into the regs and it took a while to find the information on the 2 pole being included with the new license structure :dontknow:
