Title: Roosevelt 8/22
Post by: cousinlll on August 23, 2014, 05:29 AM
Fished Roosevelt Salt End Friday from 4pm until 2am - water temps low to mid 80's.  Water turned mud stained around the Grapevine Point area otherwise usual color elsewhere.  Managed to catch 1 Cat & 1 Yellow Bass pushing a crankbait but long lining the usual BBC & JD on the other pole NADA.

After dark under lights picked up an additional Cat & Yellow Bass along with boating 6 Crappie fishing vertical with minnows.  So yes Virginia, there still are a couple Crappie in Roosevelt......   Oh, and all fish were released.

You probably released them because you don't have a solid Stainless steel , 4 quart bowl---this mystical bowl is now slated for Bartlett Crappie, only---it will be available to view and  touch, SB Cove 08/15 for a period of 14 days-- ;D
