Title: cooler weather coming
Post by: Rob on October 25, 2014, 01:27 PM
As of now accuweather is saying 11-3 Monday the temps are going to be in the 70's. That's going to be some comfortable temps to be out on the lakes.
Do you think this will affect the fish behavior.

If anything it will make the water cooler which will help the Crappie bite.  They will be feeding for the winter.

Crappie are effected by a few things. Water temp, barometer pressure, moon phase and of course food supply.

As water temps cool the Crappie should move into more open water as they follow the shad. You should find larger schools that are more spread out.

The moon phase, does that only effect them at night?
