Post by: cousinlll on January 18, 2015, 07:53 PM
It's that time again guys - Who's in for our annual Lake Powell Halls Crossing road trip!  The purpose of this thread is to determine the family unit lodging and how many trailers we're going to need.  Please make a post stating that you're in.  The roll call list below will be updated as need be.  If you plan on going on this trip but prefer to campout, please let us know that also.

Once we get an idea of the numbers I'll try to get lodging reservation info posted.

Even if your unsure at this time that you can fully commit, please make a post with that info and I'll add you to the "Maybe List"

My coworker unfortunately has had some medical issues arise, and will not be able to make this trip. So, I'm on the market for a backseater. Or I could easily jump in the back of someone's ride to share the "catching"

Marvin and I are a definite maybe. I know that is not much help at this point in time. The only thing that would keep me from this trip is a sister that is fighting an incurable cancer. We plan on making this trip barring worst case scenario. If that should happen I/we would just pony up the housing money and someone would have to step up and provide the community dinner for our night. So bottom line is put us in and if crap hits the fan I will deal with the financial aspect if and when needed.

Could any body guesstimate the housing cost at this point in time. Other cost I believe are fuel, food, worms, tackle, adult beverages, any additional licenses needed. Please advise if I missed anything.

I need this vacation!!!!!

I think I usually spent around $700 on the whole trip. In years past gas was the most expensive item.

Tom and I total cost last year for both of us combined when you include group meal, lunches, boat gas, truck gas, oil, nightcrawlers, beer, and lodging was $1400 so $700 each.  Cost is highly dependent on the rate we get for the living quarters.

I hooked up with Fishman and his friend at the Bart meeting last weekend, so my back seat is taken
