Title: G and F crews moved the dock today at Alamo
Post by: Fishless on March 19, 2015, 04:57 PM
The dock at the rental boat ramp near the store was moved today over to the cholla ramp. For now no dock on that shallow launch but rumors are they hope to put one in sometime soon.

Is cholla the launch where most people on this site launch? Going back fir and sat.
I only have a trolling motor and I'm usually by myself.  Is it possible for a one man launch at cholla?
Pretty Newbie to this lake.  Thanks for any tips in advance.  Everyone here seems very cool.

Lot of the crappie guys will use cause its closer to the north end of lake where crappies usually hold. You can launch there pretty easy with 1 person.  Nice ramp lots of space to turn around. Good luck!!!

Most people used the dirt launch, because that was the only available launch with a dock. After the lake rose, and now with the dock being moved over, I think more people would use the Cholla launch.
