I'm hopping to get lucky enough this year to catch a slab for the wall. So if anyone knows, or has used
a local taxidermists that did a good job. I could use their name or #. If I do get lucky what is the fisrt step
of preping... thanks
2.6 just isn't enough.......
Bill, it depends if you are going to go with a "skin mount" or fiberglass replica? fiberglass less expensive and easier to care for?
there should be instructions on the web

HAHAHA!
The guy that did my LM is in Queen Creek. I don't remember his name but he did a great job and charged me less than the others wanted.
OK, so how big do they need to be to be considered "wall mounters"? I can tell ya, the ones I got into a couple years ago at Carlos....... heck, back home in Alabama, 50 of them would have been on the wall. You just dont catch 2 1/2 to 3 pounders on the Alabama River! My buddies couldn't believe the pictures I sent them!!
in 07 I caught a 3 4 at Rosey and I wish I would have had it done. From now on, anything over 3 is going on the wall.
