This cool morning started me thinking...
If everybody is OK with it, I'll do the red beans, rice, and sausage thing again with cornbread.
Dang that sounds great to me. I think Marv has something in mind too.
Meal planning sounds like a good idea. Do you have a day in particular you want to make it? Like last year, I suggest we do Sun-Fri group meals with Friday being the fish fry. I count 10 people attending the full week and 2 arriving Tue evening (subject to change). That means we need 6 groups to sign up. I think that split up by boat groups of 2 that works out perfect. No rush, but reply on this thread once you and your mate determine what meal you want to prepare for the group and include what day.
This particular meal is flexible. I can adjust around anyone's plans.
I think that I gained 10 pounds last year. Everybody's dinner was great.

Oh gawd please yes
Jane & Tim will make homemade pizza one night.
Dave and Tom are in for BBQ beef on Suday night. I'm already looking forward to the BBQ beef sandwiches on the boat the next day.
What is everyone's thought about a slightly latter dinner time? I'm not thinking about late, but at least pushed back just a little bit to allow a full day of fishing. With a smaller group, we can play many things by ear.
We prefer to eat earlier.
Marv and I are in for preparing supper Tuesday night at the regular time. I'm not sure what's on the spit but we'll figure it out before long.
Tim & Jane will cook Monday Night. Tom we'll save you some
I liked last year's time - have to go back and look what time that was. I wouldn't want to go much later unless the group all wanted to.
I guess I'll have to catch all my fish faster :). Looking forward to both catching and eating. Love the coordination, great job Team Powell 2016.
We'll take Wednesday night.
Team LLL will take Thursday with a repeat of Cavatini, Side Salad & Truckload of Garlic Bread.....
Still need volunteer(s) to take charge of the Friday evening Fish Fry along with suggestions for dishes to pass for that night (or leftovers if any!) & reminder about fish donations from the group.

Forgot to mention.... Along with a Homemade Limoncello chaser to help you sleep!
Last year our mealtime was 7pm. We heard a vote to move that time back as well as votes to eat earlier. Unless there is a consensus to move it one way or another, I suggest we keep at 7pm. Rich and I will manage the Friday fish fry. Of course, we'll welcome any help if anyone wants to fry fish, fry potato wedges, or have a special side to share or suggest we bring then speak up.
Please be sure and save a bag of fillets to donate for the Friday fish fry (get them to me by Thursday please).
Kelley, can you bring one of your cast iron frying pans? I'll bring my 2 burner stove, propane tank, oil, and my cast iron frying pan. If anyone has a good fish batter (e.g. beer batter) recipe they'd like to try, please bring it with ingredients. I just have one recipe and always looking for variety. If someone wants to man the 2nd frying pan or bring their own, please speak up.
Paper plates, forks, spoons, knives, bowls, napkins -- who wants to bring this? I can if no one else wants to.
Cousinlll, you brought an extra table prior years but do you think we actually need it? We have 12 this year and picnic table usually at each trailer.
Anything else I left off?

I agree on the lamb gyro. I was with him when we picked up ingredients. That was a great meal wish we could do it again but we are out of days....
OK, update on the meal thread. Rich and I are arriving late Tuesday so you only need to account for 10 people Sun-Tue meals and then 12 people Wed-Fri. Kelley, are your friends going to be joining our group for the dinners all evenings? If so, we could have them potentially provide a meal on Saturday if the group desires or bring sides to the fish fry. Or if they aren't joining us, that's fine.
We still need folks to sign up to bring paper plates, forks, spoons, knives, bowls, napkins for the group. You don't have to sign up for all items - you can pick 1 or more. Or you can just do it for your meal if you'd like. I'd bring them but I'm not arriving until Tuesday evening.
Please be sure and save a bag of fillets to donate for the Friday fish fry. Please get them to me by Thursday evening.

My cousin and his wife (Ken and Suzanne) will be joining most evenings. They will either bring appetizers or desserts. Suzanne is a good cook.
They came in to Mesa this afternoon and I plan to eat all of his venison this week before we leave to Powell.
