All right, let's start some meal planning. Last year's meals were exceptional. Mealtime was 7pm and unless there is majority consensus to move that, I say we stick with that time. Saturday people arrive at different times so your meal on Saturday is on your own. Need people to signup for Sunday through Friday evening meals where Friday evening is the fish fry. Please be sure and save a bag of fillets to donate for the Friday fish fry.
Each group doing a meal should supply their own plates, napkins, forks, etc. for their meal for the people who will be eating.
We have 9 people who will be there for Sunday and Monday meals. We have 13 people who will be there Tuesday through Friday meals.
******* SCHEDULE ********
Saturday, May 4th - Arrival day with supper being your own responsibility
Sunday (9 people) - Tommy and Dave: Pulled pork sandwiches, Baked Beans, Cole slaw, cornbread
Monday (9 people) - Scott and Steve: Chicken enchiladas and salad
Tuesday (13 people) - Cousinlll, FishHawk, WallyG: Cavatini & that preverbal truck load of garlic bread. Maybe a side salad also
Wednesday (13 people) - Mike & Debbie: Scalloped taters and ham
Thursday (13 people) - Alan, Timbo, and Matt: Hard and soft shell tacos with the fixin's
Friday (13 people) - Fish fry!
Saturday, May 11th - Leave for home
Fish Hawk, WallyG & LLL will take Tuesday - Since you guys hate it so much, menu will be Cavatini & that preverbal truck load of garlic bread. Maybe a side salad also.......
Tommy and I will take Sunday. Pulled pork sandwiches, Cole slaw, cornbread.
Alan, Timbo, and I will do soft and hard shell tacos with the fixin's on Thursday
FYI - Change, Dick & his brother Tim have now decided to go it alone and do their own thing for the weeks suppers. So Matt, how does that change the numbers for meal planning? Guess we are minus 4 people now, correct?

Time + wife (not eating with group)
Alan, Tim, and I will be arriving Tue late afternoon. All others arriving Saturday afternoon.
Looks like we need Mike and Debbie to sign up for Wednesday and then figure out how we can manage the fish fry probably as a team effort.
If Dick and Tim not eating with the group, does that mean I don't get meatloaf this year? ☹️
We will do scalloped taters
and ham on wednesday
Let us know how we can help with the fish fry.
OK, we have all of the meals signed up for except the Friday fish fry. Let's do it as a group effort. We 5 groups of people - we need the following signed up for Friday's fish fry:
Fish fillet cleaners - takes all fillets, cleans/rinses them, etc. so they are pretty much ready to go in frier (do this THURSDAY night)
Fish friers - brings stove, oil, batter, etc. and fries fish for 13 people
3 side dishes - bring your favorite side dish or salad you think the group would like
1 dessert dish
Plates and eating utensils
Other?
I can do the fish fry if no one else wants to. I'll do dry batter but also a beer batter. Does someone have a good sized cast iron fry pan I can use? I have one but thinking having 2 pans going will work better.

One week away - any volunteers to bring sides, dessert, etc. for Friday fish fry? I'll fry fish on my stove. Will also need extra cast iron pan for 2nd frier, and plates/plasticware, etc.
I'll make a crockpot of Baked Beans for the fish fry
Spicy black eyed peas for a side
Matt. Alan is the king of cast Iron. Give him a text.
We usually have plenty of leftovers that need to be eaten. We will bring tartar sauce and a bag of potatoes if we need fries.
OK, we're bringing my stove (2 burners) and propane tank and oil for the fish. Alan is bringing 3rd burner and propane tank and possibly another cast iron pan for FishHawk's fries.
