Title: Roosevelt 1/3
Post by: Art Chamberlin on January 03, 2020, 08:32 PM
We long line trolled today from 8 until 1 on  the Salt end. It was slow with our first fish being a approx. 3 lb. carp (first fish of 2020)! One hour later it was a 1 lb. 12 oz. crappie in 39 feet of water. Almost two hours later I hooked up on my double jig rig. On the top jig crappie weighed 1-10 and the bottom had a black nose crappie that measured 11 7/8" and weighed 1 pound even. I think the bite should improve with some stable weather. ......Art

Nice, a double.  Don't you wish when you catch one of those you could just stay with that school and have a hayday? Thanks for the report.
