Title: Alamo 2-27-21
Post by: on the rocks on March 02, 2021, 10:20 AM
We launched just after 6:30 am water temp. 51 degrees at launch. There was very few boats on the lake until 10:00 am with a floatilla of 10-12 boats at the max. Nobody including us was doing very well. Finally got blowed of the lake at 1:30 pm with 2 fish and water temp up to 56 degrees. Both fish came out of 25+ foot of water with 17-18 feet of line out dbl. jigs tipped with minnows. We were the only people at the fish cleaning station.

looking at the 10 forecast and the eggs in the two that we caught I would say the bite will be at least 3 weeks away
